Welcome to Popham House, a fantastic holiday cottage located in the heart of the picturesque village of Appledore.
You’re in for a treat as you’ll be just a stone’s throw away from the wonderful selection of local restaurants, pubs and shops! If you fancy some beach time, the nearest one is Westward Ho!, which is only 3 miles away.
Inside the cottage, you’ll discover a beautifully refurbished home. The open-plan living area is perfect for chill out time, and the four stunning bedrooms have been decorated with only the finest soft furnishings, unique features and natural light throughout, making you feel right at home. Enjoy!
Inside
As you step inside the stunning property, you will be welcomed by a vibrant red doorway leading into a contemporary open-plan living space. The visuals are enriched with a colourful and modern blend of fixtures and popping shades, radiating a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for socialising and entertaining.
The kitchen space is remarkable, equipped with every essential appliance. These include an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, a fridge/freezer, and an impressive coffee machine. The dining area seats eight guests comfortably for hearty meals or board games. The tastefully designed lounge area features a comfy L-shaped sofa, a single armchair, and a lovely wood-burning stove, perfect for chilly winter nights. Enjoy family time over movie marathons or board games where engaging conversations is an effortless experience given the extravagant Smart TV and ample seating.
Furthermore, the ground floor comprises a shower room, a WC, and a convenient utility room. There is also a washing machine on the first floor.
Heading up the stairs, on the first floor, two beautifully bright and spacious bedrooms await. One a king and the second a twin. Alongside them, there is the family bathroom, boasting a bathtub with a shower over.
On the second floor, the master bedroom welcomes you with a king-size bed, complemented with an indulgent en-suite shower room. Lastly, the final room features twin beds, providing a peaceful and calming environment.
Both the King rooms also have smart TV’s for when you want some ‘me’ (or ‘us’) time.
Outside
Outside, you will have access to a shared courtyard with a bistro set for alfresco dining and convenient access to the quayside.
A short stroll will take you to Appledore’s charming quay. Along which, find a number of quaint cafés and restaurants to sit and chill out in.

Parking is outside on the road (where available) and it is just a short stroll to long stay carparks (additional charge may apply)
